So far, I have mainly worked American, Japanese or Danish films/series. The only time I mentioned France was for a co-production with Italy and Canada. And that’s a shame, because despite what the snobs may say, France has a very prolific animated production that has had a great impact on the rest of the world on a more or less large scale. But we prefer to relegate it in the background compared to an umpteenth right-wing comedy/comic adaptation unworthy of the worst cosplays in convention/pointless drama (and sometimes all that together). For Michel Ocelot, Jules Verne and Ankama studios'country, it's horribly depressing. We'll therefore try to console ourselves with a little nostalgic chauvinism. And for that, nothing better than the show that made the days of many 2000s kids : "Code Lyoko".
